We work with wide variety of customers on projects with varying degrees of customization. From a small modification to one of our standard model cryostats to a completely customized cryogenic system, we design systems to meet your specifications. Our engineering team is happy to meet with you to discuss your project and provide you with a proposal and project plan. For projects with a larger scope, we assign a dedicated project manager to work with your team to provide design reviews, regular status updates and keep your project on schedule. Our proven design process will keep your team involved and informed.

Manufacturing, quality control and formal testing procedures
Once the final design has been approved, IRLabs will fabricate and test your system. Typical testing includes a full operational cryogenic test and helium leak checking all vacuum seals both warm and cold. Systems are fully tested to verify operating temperature and hold time requirements. Mechanical assemblies and any optional upgrades are tested at operating temperature. Custom manuals are included for each system that include basic operating instructions, test data, drawings and wiring diagrams.
